You should prevent all the trigerring factors for your migraine. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Adequate sleep and plenty of fluids are important. Try breathing exercises and yoga. Topamax or topiramate is used to prevent migraine headaches. Topamax will only prevent migraine headaches or reduce the number of attacks.
