Migraine and nosebleeds

I've had a Migraine for about 3 weeks, in the past week along with the Migraine I've had frequent nosebleeds. The nosebleeds occur every 2 to 3 hours. I have been unable to find relief, my dr said my BP is normal usually about 117 over 65. He gave me some mild pain medication and a muscle relaxer, that didn't help. I've been back to see him and he said I should try an ice pack, which I have and that doesn't help either. I don't have a history of this problem it's just started in the past few weeks. The only health issues in my past are I have had Anemia since I was a child and have a crushed T12 and 13 as well as a reverse curve in my cervical vert. I had a jet-ski accident about 10 years ago that caused the T12 and 13 injury. Since then other than having 3 children I've been healthy. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry I forgot to add my response to the watch list.
I did tell him about the nosebleeds. He didn't seem to worried about it. I told him that have even been waking up in the middle of the night with my nosebleeding. I have also since yesterday had a low fever it has stayed about 100.2 which may indicate that I am getting an infection. I called back yesterday when the fever started and they said if it gets worse then go to the ER. Our ER is like the place you go to get worse not better. LOL!! I only say that because when my dad went in with the flu one of the nurses was taking blood and didn't wash her hands nor did she wear gloves and he got a staff infection on top of the flu.
Thank you for your advice and information,
Kat

Hi!   You saw the dr. and that's great.  Did he say it was a migraine?   I ask because there are some wonderful migraine rx's available and I wonder why he didn't order one for you.  One drug is Imitrex. It is non narcotic and knocks a migraine out in about 10 minutes!    You sound like a good candidate for one of these drugs with a good b/p and otherwise healthy.  Maybe you could ask him/her.  I don't know about the nosebleeds though. Did you tell the Dr. about those?  I see you live in FL. so it probably isn't dry air causing the problem.

I feel for you though. A headache like that is horrible,I know.  Call the Dr. back is really the best advice I have...Good luck .     Keep posting ~        V.
