Hi,
I'm sorry you are frusterated :(
I have had migraines on & off for 20 yrs. & have just recently(last 2 days) been dignosed with having Hemiplegic Migraines, where as before my old neurologist just thought its a simple migraine(i was on Topirimate, Amitriptalyne, Nadalol etc...) I get neuro issues numbness, weakness, floaters, speak issues, dizzy with mine as well as the pain...I have had like 7 CT scans all normal too. And last MRI didn't show much(2001)
Have you seen the Opthamologist(I saw one 4-5 years ago to rule out eye issues)....
Again I am sorry for frustration. I know my migraines are made worse by stress and I live with daily pain....just depends on degree. and have for last 1.5yrs. And if you have pain for long periods...it can also cause rebound pain. My old neurologist wasn't a lot of help either, just a pill pusher :(
So I would suggest if you haven't already sitiing down with your nuerologist & if they will not listen, you can ask reg. doc. for a referral to another Neurologist(or you can here in Canada) Cause your health & well being come first.
Good luck & let me know if you find some relief...
MRV was perfectly normal!
I have it scheduled for this Saturday so we shall see what it says! Thanks do responding!
Hi,
How are you? Primary headaches such as migraine, tension and cluster headaches may exist together. It is possible that, aside from migraine, the other types of headaches- cluster headache which usually presents with eye pain and tension headaches which presents with stress, may be present. Other differentials such as eye issues like error of refraction should also be ruled out. If it persists, have this checked by your doctor or be referred to an ophthalmologist for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted with your MRV results.
