Neck Knot Headache

Neck Knot Headache

i have been getting recurring almost sinus-pressure/tension type headaches. I also have a weird painful knot right on the back of my neck, almost to the side that the sinus pressure/pain occurs on. I am also a hypochondriac and get SUPER paranoid so when something bothers me it's ALL i think about..and all the different things it could be. I haven't hurt my neck at all that i am aware of. i almost feel like it's a knot "moving up" into my brain stem. is that possible?? is it a brain tumor or virus?!!

note: Lately i've been feeling extremely tired (i have recurring tonsillitis with no bacteria..) i need to get a blood test for that, may be mono.

Hi,
How are you? Pain at the back of head or neck that intensifies on movement may be attributed to inflammation of the blood vessels of the head or bony changes in the structures of the neck. While tumor headaches progressively worsens. Rest and pain relievers may help provide relief. However, if this persists, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
