I am 24 years old and I have been experiencing pain in the lower part of my neck, like there is a pinched nerve or something. then there are instances when my head (close to my ear) hurts for a second or so. And when it hurts, I feel dizzy. What can be the cause???
The commonest cause of neck pain along with headache is cervicogenic. It is commonly caused by medical problems such as degenerative disk disease, arthritis, whiplash, a pinched nerve or muscle spasms. A complete medical history, clinical examination and work up like X-ray cervical spine and CT scan may be helpful for detecting the cause. Treatment options are rest, heat or cold applications, traction, soft collar traction, physical therapy, muscle relaxants, analgesics, and surgical procedures. Consult an orthopaedician.I sincerely hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
