Neck issues

I had a cervical fusion about 11 years ago, C5,C6.  I have done fairly well with taking care of my neck.  My last MRI(may 2009) showed a buldging disk above and below the fusion.  About a year ago I started having very sharp stinging pain up the left side of my neck and frequently behind my left eye.  This was diagnosed as Occipital nerve pain.  I have had injections, nerve blocks, facets, massage, you name it.  The pain behind my eye has improved since an injection at the nerve site on the side of my skull.  However, the burning sometimes stabbing pain down the left side of my neck and down deep into my shoulder and upper back has continued.  I have tried to restrict some of my activity, but sitting is not the answer.  I do a wealth of stretches and exercises given to me by PT visits. I see a very cautious chiropractor, approved by my MD.  The only medication that seems to help temporarily is Excedrine products, but my brain doesn't do well with caffeine.  Hydrocodone helps some, but I don't want to become dependent on it.  I take a muscle relaxor 2X a day.  Do you have any suggestions for me to make to my doctor(s)?
