New onset chronic headache.

New onset chronic headache.

I'm not sure what to list this headache as because I'm not sure what is causing it. I get crippling headaches from time to time, and lesser headaches daily. I have been on lortab 10/500 for nearly a year to manage knee and pain, and it seems to trigger the headaches. I never had headaches until a couple months ago. I had a full brain scan and they saw nothing. It was labeled a migraine without cause after being in the hospital for 6 days. Could the headaches be intracranial pressure? I know the lortabs can cause in increase in pressure over time. Any input is appreciated.

Hi,

The chances of raised intracranial pressure is quite less because there are other symptoms apart from headache like nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, head pressure. Lortab can cause rebound headaches if taken for prolonged periods of time. I would suggest you to discuss this with your doctor as you may need dose adjustments.

Thanks
