Ocular Migraines with Sensitivity to Ligt

Hi I went to my urologist and started on Uroxatral for BPH 4 months ago.  I started developing sensitivity to light after a few days and called the manufacturer and that said their were no such side effects. I stopped useing the drug after 1 week.   I've been having Ocular Migranes (migraines) (looks like snow on a television set for several years twice a year).  Now I'm getting them ever 2 to 3 weeks.  I know sugar can tend to set them off.  I had a CT Scan prior to this in December for something unrelated (sinuses) which was negative.  I saw my Opthomologist who referred me to a Nuero Opthomoligist.  My Opthomologist couldn't find any problem.  My internist is having me go see a Nuerologist. Both appointments are about a month away.  So sugar, sensitivity to light & Ocular Migranes (migraines).  I also have had a history of sinus issue and bad allergies.   Any suggestions?

The symptoms of ocular migraine are-,
Flashe of light ,zigzagging patterns, blind spots ,shimmering spots or stars.
Cause of  ocular migraines is unknown. In some people, it's related to eating certain foods such as chocolate, nuts, shellfish or artificial sweeteners such as aspartame. Some may have episodes brought on by caffeine or alcohol. Some believe that tension and fatigue are linked to this condition.

You  should consult a neurologist. And seek appropriate treatment.
