One of incident?

I am 33 years old and have suffereed from headaches for several years. They have started recurring more frequently now. I couple of days ago, i was driving in the morning when i felt my hand going numb. This was followed by severe heart sinking, cold sweat and i felt i was blacking out. I think i did black out for a few minutes. I got a severe pain in my left leg and was then overcome by severe nausea and vomiting. I cannot go to sleep at night, but feel fatigued and sleepy all day. I do feel that i may be depressed. Do I have anything to worry about?

If this ever happens again PLEASE go to emergency!!!! This could have been VERY serious!

If anyone else is reading this too... please please please if you ever experience NEW undiagnosed:

- Numbness or paralysis on one side of the body or one one side of part of the body, especially accompanied by a headache.
- Heart pain or chest pain or chest heaviness accompanied by signs of shock, cold sweats, turning white or blue, fainting, numbness in one side of your body.

GO TO EMERGENCY or CALL 911 (or equivalent emergency number for your country)

These can be signs of a stroke or a heart attack.... which are VERY serious, actually they can be fatal, if left untreated.

Sometimes, these symptoms can "just" be a headache... but, it's NOT worth it to just assume that they are "just" a headache!! Once they have been diagnosed as a headache, usually a migraine if they are diagnosed as a headache... as weird neurological symptoms tend to go along with migraines and not things like tension headaches and sinus headaches... then if you experience the same symptoms again you don't have to worry.. .you can feel okay knowing that you are just experiencing your normal regular migraine pattern.

BUT! Until you are diagnosed... never assume that these very serious symptoms are nothing. Always go to emergency.

In your case, since your symptoms have passed, you can book an appointment with your family doctor FOR TODAY or go to a walk in clinic TODAY. But you need to be seen by a doctor TODAY.
