Ongoing Headaches with changes and other symptoms

Migraines run in my family. I have always had headaches but never so severe they complete disabled me, until about a year ago, when I started noticing a sudden "rush" when I would stand up. it would come as an intense pain at the top of my neck, like a pulsing, burning pain, and would quickly fade after about a minute or so. Steadily that pain became worse, and only occured while sitting up or standing. As long as I was lying down, I was okay. I had several cat scans, and blood work, and x rays, and doctors could never find anything. Each doctor seemed to have a new reasoning. A sinus infection, antibiotics did nothing. Tension headache, loritabs and muscle relaxers didnt touch it. And then just migraines, but numerous migraine medicines didnt help either. Then one day, the headache just disappeared, after three months of having it, literally non stop. About 2 months later, a new kind of headache emerged. This one does not go away upon lying down, it is constant either way. It started as just a pulsing noise in my ears. Now, after more failed diagnosis', it has worsened to the pulsing in my ears, severe facial pressure in the bridge of my nose, and my eyes. (My eyes literally feel like they are crossing) and also when it is really intense, and I stand up, my legs are extremely heavy feeling. I just want to be ME again!

How are you?If the tests done were all fine, this can be due to primary headaches such as cluster headache or migraine headaches. One type of migraine, hemiplegic migraine may present with pain, numbness, weakness or paralysis of one part of the body and visual symptoms. It is best that you see your neurologist for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
