Hi, you are so right, I now have an earache with all of it. I am going to my Doctor Mon the17, at which there are going to do an MRI..or what ever they call it but to check my heart first to see if everything is ok there, then for all of the blood tests. I need to see a Periodontist my teeth are so bad so my Doc say's it may have something to do with that or my Sinuses or Allergies..alway's something...Thank You Thank You Thank You  So much for all of your help, you are right on on everything...Take Care..Love JoJo  HAPPY EASTER

Hi,

With the onset of a fever,I am thinking that the headache may be part of an infectious process. I suggest that you have your ears and sinuses assessed. Also, this may be a viral infection so do take lots of water and get lots of rest.Stay in well ventilated areas and practice relaxation exercises.

Have you been under much stress lately? The increase in BP may be due to the pain that comes with the headaches. Continue to have a close follow up with your physician for your blood pressure maintenance. Also,do have some blood tests done.An infection may require some oral antibiotics.Inform your doctor about this so that proper medical therapy ( considering your medical history ) may be given. Don't self medicate.Always inform your physician before taking any medications.

Hi Vanessa, Yes I have had sinus headaches but nothing like these. No haven't been doing any form of excersize that I don't normally do and  occasionally since I had this I get an earache and it's the one on the right side as well, but it doesn't ache all the time, it comes and goes. I do have high blood pressure, I stopped at my Dr. today and he said that my blood pressure is up, 170/65 I believe it was, don't have a good memory. I have taken Ibuprofen but it doesn't touch it. I do have some Vicadin here, but when I had breast reduction surgery they had to take a biopsy of my liver as my enzymes were up and he seen a lot of redness, a Registered Nurse I know said it may have been the Vicadin, she said it will eat your liver, so I'm afraid to use it, is that true? No problem I would rather you get all the information that you need and then try to diagnose it.
Also although I don't feel well at all and feel hot like I have a fever, it  is a low grade one of 95.4..Thank You So very Much...JoJo

Hi,

A sharp stabbing pain may suggest a musculoskeletal or nerve related pain. This has occured only 4 days ago. Have you any previous bouts of headaches?

Have you engaged in any form of vigorous exercises prior to the onset of your headaches?

Are there any other associated symptoms like eye tearing, eye redness, any redness or swelling in the scalp of the involved region?

How is your blood pressure? Is it well controlled?

What relieves your headaches? Are you taking any pain medications?

Please bear with me as I try to clarify certain points regarding your condition.

Hi Vanessa, the pain started in the back of my head about 4 day's ago, at some times it is a stabbing pain, today just pain, a headache. I do have sinus & allergy problems but I have never had a headache like this with them. I take Prilosec, Prednisone, and Blood Pressure Pills. Just don't know what to think of it. I am thinking about making an app. with my doctor but I have so many medical problems just didn't want another. I  have not changed anything, no pillow or food any different than I alway's do. Ty for your Quick response...JoJo

Hi Jojo.

Just a few points to clarify:

For how long have you been experiencing the headaches?

Are your headaches  associated with any previous trauma to the head or neck?

Any possible triggers like turning the head, food intake ,bright lights or loud noises?

Have you changed your pillow, seat or bed lately which could have explained this pain?

Any eye or sinus problems?

Do keep us posted with your answers.
