Pain after lumbar puncture

I had a lumbar puncture 4 months ago and am still gettin the headaches and severe back pain. I was told at hospital to lie flat for 1 hour I did that and was discharged the next morning. Since then ive been in so much pain and to make matters worse im also pregnant so i cant take any medication. I cant bend or stand for very long and im in alot of pain when moving around. I go to physio every 2 weeks and have seen a doctor at the pain clinic. The pain seems to be gettin worse and im feeling very stressed. I suffer with depression so my low days are becomin worse. Does anyone know of any good pain relievers that I can take or use while pregnant??

How are you? Indeed, not all medicines are safe to take during pregnancy. The stronger medicines that are safe need prescription from your doctor. Before taking any, check with your doctor first. You could also try complementary and alternative medicine such as biofeedback therapy and other relaxation techniques to help with the symptoms. Regular prenatal consult is highly recommended.
