Hi,
How are you? An error of refraction in the eyes may lead to headache. Other possible cause is migraine which presents with one sided throbbing headache. With your age, these symptoms may also be hormonal in nature. If it persists, have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
I would definitely suggest that you start wearing your glasses again for a while and see if the pain lessens/goes away. Eye strain can trigger headaches quite easily. If you're not wearing your glasses because they don't work right, I'd suggest seeing an eye doc and getting a new Rx for a pair of glasses. Wearing your glasses will not only help with you eye strain (and possibly the headaches) but it can help prevent your eyes from getting worse as fast.
Good luck, and let us know if wearing your glasses solves the problem,
~Dame
