Post-Cloital Migraine Relief

Hi! I was diagnosed with post-cloital migraines late last year when my boyfriend had to take me to the ER after having intercourse. At that time, I was really out of it and they had to end up giving me lots of morphine to even stabilize the pain. I now get a migraine every time post-intercourse, but luckily it hasn't been bad enough to go back to the ER. I've tried everything to relieve this horrible pain . . . do you have any suggestions?

It will help us to know what medications have you tried for post coital migraines. Indomethacin has been found to be very useful in controlling post coital headaches. This medication should be taken at least an hr before the planned activity and always on a full stomach.
Post coital headaches usually get better with time. Good luck!
