Post Pituitary adenoma surgery migraines

My husband had 2 transphenoidal surgeries, 1996 and 1998.  Uses androgel.  Has testing every year, blood and all levels are always ok.  Has suffered from migraines since 2nd surgery.  Has had a constant migraine for 3 months.  He has been on so many medications, took oxygyn (didn't work)  Had occipital block, not sure if it worked, could have been end of cycle for headache.  We can not get any help.  No one seems to know what to do.  It is getting to the point where he cannot function on a daily basis.  We are getting so frustrated.  Any ideas?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi,
How is your husband? Have you tried complementary and alternative medicine? Biofeedback therapy, self-hypnosis and other relaxation techniques may be of help. Biofeedback uses the mind to control the body to help with a health condition or physical performance. If interested, discuss this with your doctor and determine if it is suited for you. I hope this helps. Take care always. I believe there is another forum here in Medhelp which is all about this. Take care and best regards.

"No one seems to know what to do". Do this pranayam technique and come back to report your progress and I will comment and suggest more techniques. This works gradually ,so be patient and allow 1 to 26 weeks to notice benefits. It is the extra oxygen which helps the brain and body to work on the underlying problem. It is very to important to this daily at the suggested duration.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
