Post lumbar puncture headache

I had a CT myelogram of the lumbar spine 3 weeks ago because I am still having pain after my lumbar spinal fusion a year ago. Since the myelogram I have had a very bad headache. I was told to lay flat or max of 30 degrees, drink lots of fluids, and drink coffee. I had done this for 2 weeks and they finally had me come in for a blood patch (first had to wait 5 days to stop Coumadin).
Now 7 days after the blood patch, I still have the headache. mostly when I'm up, but sometimes I wake up with it and I have a constant high-pitched  buzzing noise in the right ear, which has now become bilateral. My thinking has become fuzzy too and my memory isn't good.
Is this dangerous for a CFS leak and the headache to go on so long? What's next after a blood patch?

Thanks, Selma.  I was a good girl...no lifting. Just laid in bed. Yes, eating too.  I'm going to go back to see my neurosurgeon and see what he says about all this. Again, thanks!

  I had a leak due to epidural and laid flat for 5 days only getting up to go to the rest room....ate laying down...when I got up it was the worst pain ever......I was told if it was not gone my the 5th day a blood patch would be done.

  If u did nething that may have caused this to worsen I do not know, u did not lift nething during the time frame after the LP?

Sometimes it takes a few tries as the leak may be too small to get the first time, or too large for a blood patch to work.....so, keep calling ur Drs and ask for more info on what they can do for u,
