Prescription refill

I get what my doctor has called `Full Aura' migraine headaches. I have been prescriped Fiorinal/COD CAP 30MG. She gave me 30 pills on 10/22/07. It says on the bottle `Take 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours as needed'. It also says ``May refill 2X until 4/21/08'.

When is the earliest I can get a refill? Based on the date of 4/21/08 and getting only 2 refills it seems I can't get a refill for a long time. Any thoughts on this?

If you need to take one pill every 4 hours, 30 pills will last 6 days.  Theoretically then, 2 refills will last another 12 days.  If the pills help, you probably won't need to take them as frequently as this worst-case scenario. However, if you don't get significant relief after a couple of days, you'll need to see your doctor immediately.  

By the way, mosts pharmacist are quite eager to answer questions about prescriptions, and will possibly give even better advice than this forum.
