Pressure in the Forehead

Hi, I just thought I might post up as I'm a little bit worried about my physical condition at the moment. Over the past 2 weeks I have been getting these moments of pressure in the forehead. They aren't painful but they are uncomfortable, and sometimes they do lead to headaches. I've noticed that when I'm at work on the Computer it flares up so I'm thinking it might be an sensitivity to light. Then I associated with migraines, but I've never had a migraine in my life. I've been anxious too over the past 3 weeks and a little stressed but I'm starting to chill out again and it still comes and goes. I'm really hoping its nothing serious like meningitis or a tumor. I'm 23 years old and really active, brain tumors don't run in my family nor does meningitis. It would be really great to hear some professional responses asap as I really want some clarification on what to do. I do have a slight cold at the moment so sinusitis is another thing. Anyway, thanks for your time!

Hi,
You could be having headaches because of the stress you say you are in. You need to relax and try some OTC painkillers. Breathing exercises and yoga will also help. Whenever in front of the computer , take a break every 1 or 2 hours. That would help you avoid too much strain on your eyes and neck and back muscles. Try some neck and back exercises under supervision. Avoid alcohol , smoking, oud music, bright lights etc. Also put saline nasal spray for a few days and try OTC antihistaminics for the sinusitis. Steam inhalation would be useful. If the symptoms still persist consult your physician. Goodluck

Hi,
Most probably it is acute sinusitis which causing pressure headaches. Please take steam inhalation and OTC antihistaminics as soon as you can.
