Recurring headaches and nausea

For the last four days, I have been receiving the same symptoms no matter what.  The symptoms are : nausea, and headache between the eyes and at the back of the head.  It doesn't matter if I eat or dont eat, it still happens.  I have been shaking, and sensitive to light and sounds.  I sometimes have relief for an hour or so and then it comes back.  I have been taking over the counter medicines and it just seems to not work.  What is going on?

Hi,
How are you? Migraine headaches usually present with one-sided throbbing pain and is associated with nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound. Try to identify the triggers so you can avoid recurrence of the headaches. Over-the-counter pain medications may also lead to rebound headaches if used excessively. It is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Both preventive and abortive medications may help provide relief. Take care and do keep us posted.
