Reoccuring headache

Hello! My name is Ashley Campbell. I have been having headaches for the past 5 1/2 to 6 months now. I thought it was just regular headaches at first, but now it seems to be getting worse. The headaches feel like they wrap around my whole head, and usually come and go. I'm 8 months pregnant and have a limit of medication I can take. Is there anything else I can do. Are these signs of a tumor?

Hi,
Some headaches during pregnancy can be triggered by low blood glucose so please eat your meals at regular timings, carry high energy snack with you always. Also dehydration can cause headaches so please drink plenty of water during the day. I hope you feel better soon.

During pregnancy, you are more susceptible to headaches, this is due to all the hormones your body is producing right now. I suffer from migraines and tension headaches. Dif talk to your OB about this. There are ways you can be treated during pregnancy.

hi,

Tension headaches — the most common kind of headache — can feel like a squeezing pain or a steady dull ache on both sides of the head or the back of the neck.

If you've always been susceptible to tension headaches, pregnancy can make the problem worse.

Withdrawl of caffeine , lack of sleep or general fatigue, sinus congestion, allergies, eyestrain, stress, depression, hunger, and dehydration.

One of the common phases people, especially of women, is headache during pregnancy.

Considered as a common complaint during pregnancy, specifically during the first and third trimesters, doctors say it is rarely a signal of a serious problem.

During pregnancy, experts say that the possible cause of headache during this time is quite uncertain.

The most common practice in relieving headache during pregnancy is by taking in pain medications.

Doctors say that acetaminophen is safe to take in as long as proper dosage is administered. But, aside from acetaminophen, painkillers like aspirin, ibuprofen, and most prescription headache medicines are restricted to women who are pregnant.

Make sure that you consult your physician first what are the safest medications you can take in if you can no longer tolerate the pain.

take care  and don't worry .

All the best.
