Seeing Stars

Seeing Stars

I am 24 years old.  I have had a problem with seeing stars for since I was about 14.  I went to an eye doctor when I was young who said there was nothing wrong with my eyes.  I have seen an eye doctor in the past year who also said there is nothing wrong with my eyes.  I do not have a big problem with headaches.  When I do have them they last for a few seconds to a couple of minutes at the back of my head on the right.    There are two different types of stars that I see.  The first kind only happens sometimes like when I am stressed or when I am bending over to pick something up.  These appear to be larger and look like they are close. They last a few seconds and then go away.  I am assuming these are just caused by a blood pressure drop or something.  The second kind I see are much smaller and appear to be far off.  I see them all the time though out my field of vision.  The closest thing I can describe them to is the fuzzy screen on TV  or smaller more numerous versions of the stars you see when you hit your head.  Also, I do have "floaters" in my eyes.  I know they are not likely related except in the fact that I know that the other two things I am describing as "stars" are not "floaters". The closest description I can find for my problem is a migraine with aura.  Other then these weird eye problems I am a healthy 24 year old.  I did hit the back of my head in middle school.  Also, my father died of a brain tumor when he was around 28.  I just got insurance this year so I was wondering how concerned about this I should be.  Since I have had these symptoms for so long is it likely to be life threatening or serious?  I do not have much money to spend getting this checked out.  Most of my money is going to my health insurance premiums so I am still limited about seeing the doctor.
