Severe Migraine

Hello, I have had migraines for about three years now, and lately they have been on the right side, a sharp pain, I have pain in the back of my neck, and my eyes feel like something is stabbing them. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do or take when I have a severe migraine?

How are you? There are indeed plenty of preventive and abortive medicines for migraine available. Rest, ice packs, and identification of the triggers will help you determine what you should avoid to prevent recurrences.  It is not also advisable to take over-the-counter pain medications excessively because these cause rebound headaches. Check with your doctor for proper management. Take care an regards.

i have the same probably i get them if i have to do something that too hard or if i hit my head

There are many over the counter medications labeled for migraine use. If one of them does not work, do not exceed the dosage on the label.

I would go see a doctor and get diagnosed formally, and see what they advise. I take a preventative, and also have other meds that are used to take when a headache comes. There are a lot of medications out there - you need to know the options.
