Severe Sharp pain on Left side of Head

I'm not sure if it's a Migraine or not, but it's started yesterday. About twice a day or less, I've been getting quick, severe sharp pains above my left temple. It only last about two seconds, but it's such a severe pain that my eyes start watering & I usually yelp. I've been experiencing regular migraines for the past month or so, but this just started recently. It frightens me & does nothing for my anxiety disorder lol. If anyone has an explanation? or if it's serious?

How are you? Are there other symptoms present? This could be due to ice pick headaches which presents with short, stabbing, extremely intense headaches that can  last for a few seconds only. This may occur in patients with primary headaches such as migraine or cluster headaches, and may not be due to organic causes. However, if it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
