For how long have you been diagnosed with a migraine headache?
Have you been taking pain medications since? If yes, for how long?
Differentials for your case will be a transformed migraine due to medication overuse.This may be likely if you have been taking medications for greater than 15 days in a month for 3 months. A migraine headache without aura and tension headaches are also differentials .
Tension headaches are usually bilateral and nonpulsatile and may also be associated with painful shoulder and neck muscles.
