Hi,
How are you? Definite diagnosis may be done with seeing your doctor or referral to a neurologist as mentioned by katgood. Complete neurological examiantion and imaging studies such as CT scan or MRI may also help rule out anatomical issues as well. Migraine usually presents with one sided throbbing headaches and may be associated with nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound. A headache journal will help identify possible triggers that you could also avoid. Take care and do keep us posted.
Hi, I get this quite often, in fact my latest and current headache has lasted 25 days... neck stiffness, feels like my head is a volcano growing and waiting to erupt. Do you get real bad spasms in your neck and upper back and shoulders? I do...Dizziness, nausea, all. Are you sensitive to light and or sounds? Have you been dx with migraines? If not you need to get in and get a referral to neurologist who deals with migraines also. You also may want to ask about a condition called Cervical Dystonia. It starts with the same symptoms you are describing, although you are kind of young as onset normally doesnt happen til about 40. But migraine seems to be what you are explaining. God bless!!
