Sharp head pain in same spot

Hello doctors. I have a question about the head pains i have ben having lately along with anxiety. It all started about 2 months ago after drinking about 8-10 jagermeister shots the night before when i all of the sudden felt light headed a little dizzy and started vommeting and having a panic attack.. it lasted for about 2 hours then everything seemed fine for a day or two.. but then i started having this sharp pain right at the top middle of my head every once in a while.. the pain only lasts for a second but its pretty painfull. almost like alot of pressure being applied inside my head inbetween my brain and skull. along with those i was having panic attacks. all i could think about was OMG whats wrong!. its gotten alot better but its still hard to get those thoughts out of my head and i still have the sharp pains. one more thing tho.. i dont know if it was anxiety or what but for the first month everything felt kinda hazy to me and i couldent sleep well.. i couldent think straight it seemed i had a sort of disconnected feeling. anyways i still have verry minor short panic attacks here and there but they arent nearly as bad as before. thanks so much for reading this and any advice or anything would be great.

Anxiety can cause a multitude of symptoms that will have you thinking that something is really wrong with you. You can google "the Linden Method" if you want. I'm pretty sure it saved my life a few years ago.

Hi

How are you?

Based on your last post it seems that you are under a lot of stress lately. Just take things one step at a time .Try to take a deep breath and obtain a good rest. It is important to give yourself some time to rest and relax as anxiety may cause headaches and may only also affect your mood. Your moods may also affect your physical state .This may manifest as headaches and other pain conditions.

Im not currently taking medication, and when i get the attacks it feels hard to breath right.. i feel like im not gettng enough air so i breath heavier and faster. I have also found that when im occupied i think much less of the hazy feeling. I have also noticed my emotions are stronger.. when i get mad i get really mad.. and same with sad and such. I use to beable to control my anger much better. For example today in the shower i didnt have much hot water so i took a swing at the shower head lol.. normaly i wouldent do that. anyways just recently i have started working more.. it seems every day i work afterwards i get extremely tired wich is unusual.. i  use to be really tired during the morning then after lunch my energy would skyrocket. but not anymore. Thankyou so much for your advice, i will follow it as best i can.

Hi.

You may be anxious over a lot of things lately. Try to observe your symptoms and do avoid any alcoholic beverages as this may seem to aggravate your condition.

It is best to be as calm as possible. You may learn some relaxation exercises to help you slow down. Get enough sleep and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Engaging in daily exercises improve circulation and shall keep you alert and invigorated.

This feeling of haziness or being dazed may be associated with anxiety. Are you taking any medications? Do you hyperventilate?

Hello thanks for responding. I have had sinus headaches before quite often during the seasons change. And iv been worried about collage so maby that worsens the panic attacks. as for previouse attacks.. not really. this is the first time iv felt this way. Im starting to get used to it but id like it to stop. Im hoping its just a sesonal thing at that it will pass after a little while longer of summer. one more thing tho. the hazy/dazed felling i have sometimes comes back for a little bit. could this be assosiated with anxiety? When this problem first happend i went cold turkey on alcohol and caffien. i only drank once a week but i did drink alot of caffine. thanks so much for your help.

Hi.

I understand you are very anxious about this. I suggest that you try to calm down and relax. Headaches may be due to a lot of factors. Alcohol has been associated with headaches as the may trigger for them . For those who never had headaches before, alcohol may induce severe headaches. Cluster headaches have been noted to be associated with alcohol. Migraine headaches may also be trigerred by alcohol intake.

Cluster headaches are associated with eye redness, eye tearing and nasal discharge. The headaches may be sharp and may last for several seconds. They may resolve spontaneously only to occur at certain times of the year.

Do you have any problems at work or at home lately ?

Have you had previous episodes of panic or anxiety attacks before?
