Sharp pain on the top of my head daily

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant so I don't know if this has anything to do with my sharp pains that I am feeling on the top of my head!  Daily it seems like at the top of my head it so sensitive and I am feeling these sharp pains.  I do have a bump at the top of my head and I have had this bump since I was 14 and now I'm 22 so I didn't think that it was bad.  I did ask a doctor about this at one point in time and he told me that it was a vein and that it's nothing to worry about.  Well now that I'm getting old it's starting to hurt plus I'm having a little bit of pain behind my eyes.  I don't know why or if it's something that I should get checked out immediately, but I do put my hair up alot also.  I know that my grandmother passes from tumors and I have had a couple cousins pass from brain anuersyms also.  I just wanted a doctor's personal opinion before I would make a doctor's appointment.
