Should I ask to be hospitalized for DHE protocol again?

Hi. I have epilepsy with a VNS implant and migraines. My migraines have gotten worse with several trips into the dr for a demerol/dhe/phenergan/decadron coctail. I have been hospitalized in the past, in the spring, for a DHE protocol and it actually seemed to help my migraines for a couple of weeks.

My question is this: Should I flat out ask to be hospitalized? Does that sound pushy? It's not convienent for me but it helps longer than anything else does. I'm allergic to several meds and gain huge amounts of weight on depakote so the seizure/migraine drugs I can take in addition to the ones I already do are limited. I was put on a low dose of propanylol in the spring. I have the option of taking treximet which helps marginally and sumavel dosepro which helps better if needed. Do doctors see you as pushy if you flat out ask them to do something?
