Dr many thanks for your reply, I know this is a busy forum so I appreciate it. That has put my mind at rest a little.

Hi,
I understand your concern. At this point, this does not sound like an urgent case. The pain that occurred was not particularly severe and lasted for only a few seconds.I would be concerned if the pain is sudden, severe, lasts for a few seconds but occurs repeatedly throughout the day. There are no associated symptoms of visual loss, blurring of vision, ringing in the ears, eye tearing or redness.
Differentials for this will be musculoskeletal or arthritic pain, a tension headache with migraine component and cervicogenic headaches or headaches secondary to spine disorders.
In your case, the primary consideration may be musculoskeletal pain. Just continue to observe your symptoms.Taking pain relievers may be able to help. Keep us posted regarding your progress.
