Stressing Out, Never dealt with this before, I feel like I'm going crazy.

I was recently diagnosed with Acute Bronchitis, everything is clearing up and besides the cold and allergy symptoms I keep having these really strange things happening to me and I keep freaking out because I'm thinking it's possibly something worse?

Today I was standing up going to sit down and my head started to have this pressure build up inside it like it was going to explode! I got dizzy and my heart was pounding so hard and fast I could literally hear and feel it in my head. Now I'm having headaches and the back of my head is numb. Something like this happened to me a few weeks ago, less severe though and I really want to know what could possibly be wrong with me? I also keep having these electric bolts of tingling every now in then mostly in the head. Any ideas?

If there was no history of trauma to your head or neck, this could be due to primary headaches such as migraine, tension or ice pick headaches and may need to be evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. The dizziness while standing up may be attributed to postural hypotension which occur due to changes in the blood pressure from sitting to standing or any changes in position. Try to stand up slowly or gradually to avoid symptoms. If this persists, check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination is important. Take care and regards.
