TANNING BOOTH

CAN TANNING BOOTH CAUSE MIGRAINES. I GO EVERYDAY BECAUSE I WANT A TAN AND I ALSO HAVE TO GO FOR PAIN MANAGEMENTEVERY 6 MONTH FOR A SHOT EVERY WEEK FOR 4 WEEK CAN THIS ALSO TRIGGER A HEADACHE? CAN YOU HELP ME?

hi... the bright lights could cause a migraine maybe? also... any stress to the body can cause a migraine... stress means change.. and tanning is like a change to the body... so maybe, yah?

I know that heat and bright lights of any kind cause me to get migraines.  I can't even go out on the water and enjoy the lake anymore b/c i know that I will get a migraine by the next day. So I think the tanning is definitely going to cause you some headaches.

Stress is one of the most important factors for the precipitation of migraine headaches. Migraine attacks commonly activate the sympathetic nervous system in the body.Bright flashy lights are one of the triggers of migraines and tanning light can also trigger it.So I would advise you to refrain from tanning.

Apart from your migraines, I'd be a little concerned about using tanning machines everyday. Don't risk your skin just for the sake of a healthy looking tan. Moderation and protection is vital. Please take care.
