Tanning Bed a Trigger?

I seem to be having longer lasting migraines lately and the prescribed medicine has not been helping to knock it out.  Almost a month ago, I started tanning on a somewhat regular basis no more than 7 minutes at a time.  I wonder if this could be triggering my migraines.  Does anyone else have problems with tanning and migraines?

Hi,

UV light exposure do have its share of side effects and adverse outcomes. Exposure to UV repeatedly may cause skin problems and eye problems.Headaches have been associated with UV light exposure. You have mentioned that you have been spending more time tanning on a regular basis.Refrain from doing this as this may indeed trigger your migraines. Observe your headaches and discuss this with your physician , so you will be advised further.
