Teenager experiencing cronic headaches..why?

I am fifteen years old, and was diagnosed with cronic headaches have been going on for about three years, but i was most diagnosed until about a year ago.
i wake up with a headache everyday, and they last the whole day. i have been to an ENT specialist, had an MRI done, been on multiple medications, and most recently have been to the MHNI (michigan head pain clinic)
While i was there, i got diagnosed with hypermobility, and was put into physical therapy for my right shoulder. I went through over six months of physical therapy, and came out with nothing different. The physical therapist told me that i probably have a rotator cuff injury and should go to an orthopedic surgeon to have it looked at.
My headaches are so intense that they have affected my daily life. Sometimes, i will just come home from school and sleep, or miss out on plans with family/friends because it hurts to even keep my eyes open.
I always wake up with the headache, and always go to bed with it. If the headache is really strong for that day, i will wake up with the same one the following morning. The headaches are usually on the side of my head, up by my temple. This prompted doctors at MHNI to add my jaw into my physical therapy. This did not help.
Having these cronic migraines is very frustrating. Since i am young, none of my friends understand it. And apparently, my doctors don't understand it either. Please help if you have an suggestions or comments that you think will help me. Even though the doctors tell me it is not something serious, it still makes me worry that they are wrong.

Always,
Kendra

Hey,
i know how you feel, ive been waking up with headahces as well as dizziness for the past six years, i am 17 and know how much it affects your social life. I would recommend trying a pyschologist as a last resort, i have been reffered to one by a G.P to help me find a way to mentally overcome them. possible idea for you? i know its not a full cure but it may help in getting you feeling happier and able to be the social teenager you want to be!. Also maybe you could try low doses of anti-depressants? i have trialled two lots as a pain killer, i didnt recieve any benefits, but who knows it could work for you!.

Hi,
How are you? I'm sorry to hear what you have been through for the last three years. A chronic migraine is indeed very unfortunate especially during this time.  Try to check also your hormones and posture because this can also be a factor. If medications do not help,. complementary and alternative medicine like biofeedback therapy can help provide relief. Talk to your doctor about this and see if there is any improvement. Take care and do keep us posted.

Wow, I'm REALLY sorry to hear your story, 'cuz is sounds SO MUCH like mine. I've had the same migraine, day in, day out, since I was 13. (I'm now 22) I've been to MHNI, and they couldn't really help me. I've done multiple rounds of PT, and that hasn't helped. I'm on a bunch of different meds, and they help manage, but not cure, my pain.

You might well have status migrainous, which is basically chronic migraine, only the same migraine every day instead of getting a break in your sleep. Unfortunately for both of us, there's no cure for it yet. Treatment can help, including psychiatric treatment as psych meds effect the same chemicals in the brain as migraines.

If you have any specific questions, or just want to vent, feel free to contact me.
