Top of Head Pain

Top of head pain for 3 weeks now and find no relief with over the counter meds.  Had eye test with no change in vision. Had CAT scan which showed that my line between hemipheres was not straight completely.  Had MRI which showed nothing.  Pain is still there.  I am currently taking vicodin in the evenings to sleep and motrin 800 mg during the day which doesn't relieve the pain just takes the sharpness away at times.  I have laid off the salt, sugar and caffine in hopes of finding a cure.  This has really changed my life style and I feel crippled.   The only other symtome I have is an occasional shooting pain down my left leg to my middle toe.  Mostly happens during the night.  Do you have any suggestions on what this is and/or how to cure this constant headache?   I wear sunglasses although the light does not bother me.  At times the pain is warm or hot feeling but sharp.
