Hi...I have been on Topamax for 2 1/2 years and it doesnt seem to be working anymore.  I went to a neurologist and he raised my dose from 100 mg to 125 mg about 3 wks ago.  The headaches are still there...everyday, some stronger than others, but EVERYDAY.  I also take 450mg wellbutrin.  I dont know if I should call the Dr and ask him if I should start taking 150mg or does anyone think its too early to say (3 wks)  I take relpax when they get real bad and that works great, but 4 hrs later...BAM, the pain!!!!  So, question is should I call the Dr and suggest or wait until I see him on Feb 21!!!...THANX!

Hi,

It would be best to call your doctor and discuss your case with him/ her. This is because the headaches are coming at very frequent intervals even with the medications you are taking.

Ask him/her if you could get an earlier appointment and let the doctor know about your current status.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
