Weird dull, non-painful pressure in head?

Weird dull, non-painful pressure in head?

There is too much to explain really about my health background, but here is the summary: 30 y/o male - have had anxiety disorder for 9 years (but it is way under control for the most part now - the emotional aspects, not so much the physical affects), get headaches pretty moderately throughout the month, though I drink A LOT of caffeine, which is probably the cause of those - this is normal and has been the same way for years and years. I am 30 years old and smoke about 3/4 a pack a day (and have for 15 years - currently building up the courage to quit).

I also started having classic migraine with aura for about 3 years, but have them moderately - maybe one or two a year. I also have BPPV (benign paroxsysmal positional vertigo due to a previous inner ear injury).

I also have hayfever allergies that used to be VERY severe, but have since gotten much milder.

Okay, so the other day I woke up and my head felt very "full", for lack of better explanation. It felt like pressure all over my head, but mostly behind my nose and back of my head, and temples - actually pretty much everywhere. Now, this is not really a "pain" per se, it is more of a pressure. Sort of like having an elastic shower cap on :)

For the most part, it goes from more noticeable to there, but not really noticeable throughout the day. My nose is not stopped up or anything, but I am just wondering if this could be from allergies or some sort of sinus pressure, or possible something to do with my ears?

I have been unemployed since February and having a hard time to find a job and am under a bit of stress and I know that can manifest itself in many ways. Due to that, I also do not have insurance so have not been to the doctor. I used to go all the time for various things here and there, only to have all my symptoms passed of to stress and anxiety (which turned out to be true, I suppose as I am still okay besides this!). I plan on making an appointment with the free clinic tomorrow, but that could mean another month or so before I can even see a doctor. Obviously if it gets worse or other symptoms develop then I will go to the ER I suppose.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Mike
