What could this be?

The other day i was just sitting watching t.v and all of a sudden my vision started molding together. I got onto the computer to check my email and all the words turned bright and sort of blotchy. Soon after i got a minor head ache. Soon after that, maybe about 5 minutes, my whole hand went numb along with my bottom lip. that lasted about 5 minutes. Once that passed my head ache turned into a migrane (migraine) and ive had it for two days now. What could this be?

The symptoms of vision flolding and becoming blotchy could be due to ocular migraines. But since this was followed by a headache, retinal headaches should be ruled out. Consult an eye specialist regarding this. This can be dangerous if a retinal detachment is likely to happen.
The other serious thing could be a mini stroke or eye stroke due to temporary cut off of supply. This can cause vision to become blotchy if the optic nerve is involved.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please consult an eye specialist ASAP or go to the ER. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I have been waking up everyone morning after that day with a head ache in the same spot each time.. on my right side of my head. Right now we are broke and i dont know what i should do..
