What is mega cisterna magna?

by nattiemae1978, Jun 29, 2009 04:23PM
I have been having constant 24/hr headaches for at least 2 months.  After a CT and MRI they diagnosed mega cisterna magna, 3.5 into 2.8 into 5 cm, but said this would not be what is causing my headaches and it is nothing to worry about.  I can't find anything online pertaining to adults.  Can you help define this for me, my next step is to see a neurologist, but I want to know as much about this as I can in the mean time.
