What is this pressure?

For the last 2 days I've had a wierd pressure ontop of my head. It gets worse when I raise my eyebrows and then feels like it goes from the top right part of my head down to my right eye.  The best way to sescribe this is a sharp stabbing pain.  I did get nauseous today but that may have been from the coffee on an empty stomach.  Can yu give me an idea of what I may be looking at or at least what could be causing this?

How are you? are there other symptoms present? If there was no history of trauma to the head or neck, this could be due to primary headaches such as migraine, cluster or tension headaches.  It is important that the possible triggers are identified in order to avoid them in the future. Rest, ice pack and pain medications may help. However, if it persists, you may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examiantion is important.
