How are you? Was there a previous injury to your head or neck? Headaches can either be triggered by various triggers or be a result of single or combined conditions. There are two types of headaches: primary and secondary headaches. It is important to identify what is the underlying cause for proper management. Primary headaches are not associated with other diseases. These can be migraine headaches, tension headaches, and cluster headaches. On the other hand, secondary headaches are caused by associated diseases such as brain tumors, strokes, meningitis, subarachnoid hemorrhages, caffeine withdrawal, or discontinuation of analgesics. Have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. Complete neurological examiantion and some tests will help determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
As for the 24/7 head pain, I've been like that for the past 8 years. There's nothing *physically* wrong with me, such as a tumor. I just have status migranosis. If I were you, however, I'd get in to a doc as soon as possible and see if you can abort this bad streak.
