Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
OTC ibuprofen, diclofenac or acetaminophen will not be very expensive. You can buy a few for emergencies.
Drink plenty of water, incorporate fruits, vegetables and nuts in your diet. Add grapes or drink grape juice. Incorporate daily exercise of the neck and shoulders. Go for an aerobic exercise or a walk or swim daily.
All these will help reduce the attacks considerably.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
