about the skull

My question is about my friend who is 54 years old female. The other day she found the soft spot on her skull like newborn babies have. She does not have any kind of pain.

WHAT CAN IT BE?

Hi,

I just have a few questions to give me a clearer picture of your friend's case:

Where is this soft spot located?

On the spot, does she feel any throbbing or pulsations?

Is the spot tender or painful?

Any redness or discolorations?

Does your friend have any other underlying conditions?

Does she have headaches, nausea , vomiting ,dizziness and visual symptoms?
