arachnoid cyst possible chairi malformation

im 30 yrs old i have pain in the back of my head and spine bone my eyes hurt all the time i went to the doctor they said i have a arachnoid cyst

Hi...I see u were dx with an arachnoid cyst...why do u feel it is chiari?

What other symptoms r u dealing with besides the headaches, and eye pain?

How long since ur MRI?...was it  just of ur brain...was it w/wo contrast?

How are you? As mentioned from your other post, treatment of arachnoid cyst depends mostly upon the location and size of the cyst.  Microneurosurgical techniques and endoscopic tools allow for minimally invasive surgery  to remove the membranes of the cyst or open the cyst so its fluid can drain into the cerebrospinal fluid. Talk to your doctor about this and to clear any doubts of diagnosis. A referral to a  neurosurgeon may also help.  Take care always.
