blurred vision headache in daughter with bloodclotting disorder

My daughter is experiencing a headache with blurred peripheral vision.  She gave birth 9 months ago.  After three miscarriages, she was diagnosed with a "bloodclotting disorder" and had to take blood thinners in order to carry the baby.  I am concerned that this headache is indicative of something dangerous, given the bloodclotting disorder.  She also has rynauds (sp?) syndrome.  Than you for any information you can give me.  MerryKay

Hi,

There is a possibility that your daughter is suffering from ocular migraines which can cause blurred vision and headaches. Other possibilities include eye conditions like optic neuritis and CNS diseases like pseudotumor cerebrii where there is swelling of the optic disc along with raised intracranial pressure which can cause headache with blurred vision.
It will also help to know complete medication history. I would suggest you to get her neurological evaluation done as soon as possible. Thanks
