chills on right side of head only

by Mina711, Feb 06, 2009 10:29AM
I've been getting chills on the right side of my head only from the tip of the head to the base. I would also get headaches at the base of the neck. I normally don't get headaches and never felt chills in my head on one side. What is the cause of this?

Hi,

It is difficult to pin point the exact cause without a clinical exam, some possibilities are there which need to be looked into like anxiety, stress, and sinusitis, cervical spine issues like disc prolapse, disc herniation or cervical spondylosis which can cause nerve compression and result in chills and headache. The possibility of migraine also cannot be ruled out.

I would suggest you to do some gentle neck exercises and in the meantime get a clinical evaluation done.
