continued headache - 1 month

Dear world doctors,

Need your assistance and kind advices.

My daughter is going through head pain for 1 month and I have done MRI and CT can which shows negative results.

She is on sandomigrain pills 2 tablets a day for 3 weeks but no effect.  She is 9 years old and going to primary school. Her weight is 45kgs and height is 1.27meter.

How is your daughter? Aside from the headache, are there other symptoms present? It is good that both the MRI and CT scan were fine. This can rule out secondary causes in the brain. This can be due to primary headaches such as tension or migraine headaches. Other possible causes include genetic predisposition, head trauma, illness and infection, environmental factors, certain foods and beverages  and even high levels of stress and anxiety. Have this evaluated by a neurologist for proper diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
