MIGRAINES & HEADACHES COMMUNITY
could it be cervicogenic headache? or other?

could it be cervicogenic headache? or other?

I havemuch to list and don't want to sound overwhelming but have been dealing with this since a severe head trauma back in 1992 and am not sure what to do. Almost daily to at least two or three mild to exruciating and occasionally dibilating migraines per week. Have had several MRI and CT Scans with/without contrast over the years. They have found bone diseases in my back and neck and there is a hemangioma ganglion cyst in the T-1 of the cervical vertebrae. This was recently discovered but apparantly has been there since the attack. I was found disabled in 2001 after missing consistent work days to where I'd already lost or had to quit several jobs from 92-01 when a new Dr finally suggestion it was time to try to fight for disability. During my review a couple of years ago I was reevaluted and told I am supposedly better, I am still appealing it. When I was financially able due to medicare, to see the Dr.s I waqs given trigger point injections and I was also given a vertebral fusion in the c-4 vertebrae replaced by cadaver.
I have sciatica, chronic disk degeration, spondylosis, and last year a nerve conjuctioin test confirmed the presence of nerve damage i.e., neuropathy in my arms and legs as well.  The last Dr. general practionioner I was seeing had sent me to a spine specialist who in turn had referred me to a neurologist who felt I have Fibromyalgia, however three days after the nerve test was completed, and before my follow up to go over all conclusive decisions and results the judge in my last appeal made a decision that my appeal was denied and I no longer have medicare. I haven't been able to go to the spine specialist or neuoroligist since then. I know your information isn't a medically guaranteed answer, but the information I receive can help my be more aware and informed of what to ask, tell and discuss when I can go . ...
sorry the post is so long and probably way too much irrelative informaition, but I am so frustrated with all of this and am on my last possible appeal for my situation, any information or direction is so greatly appreciated!!! I eagerly look forward to any replies, also if any readers have any info, suggestions, or questions, please post! Thx so very much hope anyone else in pain and suffering will get the help they deserve and maybe this also helps bring comfort and/or awareness to others. Kat
