daily headaches

hi, I have headaches on the right side of my temple. I have gone to the Doctor several times and seen a Neurologist who taken to MRA and found that I have more fluid on the brain then most people my age, but says that this is not what is causing my headaches. He injected the trigger spots a total of three times and the last one lasted the longest total a day of being headache free. I have also been on 5 or 6 meds that work for Migraines which know of them have helped. I was sent to Physical Therapy and the last part of therapy help with MFR and Thoracic spine. But in any case I was diagnosed with daily chronic migraines. I went off all over the counter med that I was taken and also kept a documentation of what triggered my headaches and all that i have found is that I have a sensitive to light and noise from time to time. I wake up with one and go to bed with it. Laying down seems to help sometimes but starts as soon as I open my eyes. it has waken me up only a couple of time, and feels like an sand clock when I roll over.  I have started taken Aleve when my headaches are to bad to handle at least twice a week, but I try hard not to take anything, but I need to have some relief and not sure what I can do.The Doctor doesn't understand why the treatment of meds and stuff have not helped and now I'm not sure what direction I should go. Can you please offer any suggestion to suggest to him the next time I see him?

Hi,
How are you? If medications do not help, you may also want to try complementary and alternative medicine such as biofeedback therapy, self-hypnosis, acupuncture and other relaxation techniques. The National Institute of Health has done a lot of studies on their effectiveness and many headache sufferers do get relief. Take care and do keep us posted.
