Hi,
How are you? Eye Twitching or blepharospasm is involuntary eye muscle spasm. It is believed to be caused by an abnormal functioning of certain nerve areas which control the coordination of muscle movements. It can also be due to idiopathic causes, side effect of certain medications, stress, irritation of the cornea, fatigue, lack of sleep, prolonged staring at a computer screen or television and even from nervous system disorders. There is also a type of migraine, called hemiplegic migraine, which presents with numbness and tingling sensations. If your present medications do not work, inform your doctor about this also for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
