flying with a punctured sinus from tooth extracted

Yesterday I had a tooth pulled and the dentist said he punctured the sinus cavity and I have to be careful not to sneeze or blow my nose for 14 days! Then I remembered that next week for the holidays I fly to my brothers for Thanksgiving. How will this punctured sinus affect my being able to fly??

Hi sharadonn,

I think you should phone the dentist who did the procedure and gave you the instructions about being careful about blowing your nose and sneezing, and ask that dentist for advice. If you cannot get in touch with your dentist before you fly, then I would suggest going to a walk-in clinic and asking a doctor there.
